Jennifer Tucker, DVM

A native of Iuka, Mississippi, Dr. Tucker has been a part of the team at Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic since she graduated from veterinary school. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in history from Mississippi State University in 2011, and she achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Dr. Tucker is happy to be where she is today, and she loves being able to help people on a daily basis.

Dr. Tucker's special interests in veterinary medicine are internal medicine, theriogenology (reproduction), and clinical pathology, but her favorite part about her career is meeting people and building relationships with them. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Tucker also belongs to several community organizations including the Junior Auxiliary, Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, and Chapel Hill Church.

Dr. Tucker is married to her husband, Billy, and they have two sons, Wendell and Hewitt. Their pet family includes three dogs, Shiner, Jak, and Tito, one mini pig named Levon, two cats, five horses, and some cows. In her free time, she loves cheering on the MSU Bulldogs in any sport, traveling, horseback riding, and spending time at the lake with her family. She also loves watching Kids Baking Championship and fox hunting with her horses Finn and Cole.
