About Us

LaShea, Practice Manager

LaShea has been the Practice Manager at Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic since 2006. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Management. She is married to Dr. Brad Nunley, and they have four children, Maura, Luke, Taylor, and Hadley. When the clinic opened in 2006, it was just Dr. Nunley and LaShea. At that time, LaShea did a little bit of everything. Now, she enjoys the management side of the business completely, and she tries her best to help everyone on the staff be the best that they can be so they can all assist clients and their pets. The Nunley’s pet family includes six dogs, horses, and cows.


Sam, Lead Veterinary Technician

Sam joined the staff at Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic in 2008. He is a graduate of Tishomingo County High School, Class of 2008. Sam has several animals including his house dog named Cricket, a mini cow, Maybelle, a horse, Leo, and a number of goats. Sam enjoys horseback riding, working with local 4-H clubs, judging livestock shows, and raising show quality dairy goats.


Michelle, Veterinary Technician

Michelle joined the team at Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic in 2008. She graduated from Tishomingo County High School in 2009 and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College studying Animal Science. Michelle’s experience in the veterinary industry has been breeding and raising Great Danes since 2012 and working for several veterinary clinics as a Whelping Nanny. While on deployment in Kuwait, Michelle worked with the Equestrian Center for the Kuwait Army, and she participated in the Base TNR program. Michelle’s family includes Russ, Eli, and Lizzy. Her pet family consists of cats, Bendy and Dunkin, dogs, Gemma, Ant, Nala, and Minnie, as well as a slew of cattle and chickens. A fun fact about Michelle is that she taught herself how to crochet through watching YouTube.


Alie, Veterinary Technician

Alie has been an official member of the team at Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic since 2016, however, she volunteered at the clinic for a year prior to that. Alie’s education includes graduation from Emmanuel Christian School, two semesters studying veterinary medicine at Northeast Mississippi Community College, and two semesters in the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster College. Her pet family includes Izzy, a beagle mix, and cats Millie and Binx. A fun fact about Alie is that her favorite hobby is drawing.


Lindsey, Veterinary Technician/Receptionist

Lindsey joined Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic in 2022. She is a graduate of Alcorn Central High School, Class of 2019. Lindsey attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology and received a degree in Farming Operations Technology with a concentration in livestock management, specifically Bovine, in December of 2022. Lindsey has worked in various capacities in animal husbandry for the Corinth Animal Care Center, Leaning Cedar Herefords in Iuka, Alcorn County Co-op, and Meyer Family Shorthorns in Greensburg, Indiana. She was also a very active member of FFA and 4-H where she showed Herefords and Hereford influenced cattle. Her animal family members include a few Hereford and Angus influenced cattle, a Tennessee Walker named Snickers, Tebow a Lab/Aussie mix, Dudley the Bloodhound, Gauge, an Aussie, Sophie, a mini dachshund, Josie, a Blue Heeler, and three cats, Thunder, Ivy, and Pearl. In her spare time, Lindsey is an avid deer and turkey hunter.


AnnaBelle, Veterinary Assistant

AnnaBelle graduated from T.C. following a medical degree through Northeast Mississippi Community College. Prior to her career at Animal's Choice Veterinary Clinic, she worked with children for a number of years. AnnaBelle's family includes her parents, Scott and Beth, and her older siblings, Caleb and Victoria. She has a horse named Raine and a Chorkie named Zeus.


Brandy, Receptionist

Brandy has been with Animal’s Choice Veterinary Clinic since 2017. She graduated from Tishomingo County High School in 2004 and has prior work experience with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department. Brandy’s family includes Ricky, Rick, Angel, Jacob, Kayden, and Raegan.
